Towns:
The non-cooperation movement had begun with the participation of teachers, students, and even lawyers who also joined the movement in the towns. The people protested at the liquor shop and avoid to buy foreign goods and cloth. So the cloth of Indian traders increased and the industry of textile got the new contract of life in India.
Countryside:
In countrysides, the people explained the idea of ‘Swaraj’ but they participated largely on the movement against the British. Poor labor introduced the movement against the landlords and talukdars. Although the plantation workers started the movement opposed to estate owners.
