Answer:

Elon Musk and the Bouring company

Explanation:

There have been three big projects in my city in the past 3 decades. And each project completed via a government project has broken over and over. Then a private hotel hired an independent contractor architect to take on an even more sophisticated project in an area not too much further from the government project and they have had no problems since. Beurocracy seems to always ruin progress and that will include public transportation or regular transportation. Why have electric cars that could travel 100+ miles to the gallon when we could drive gas-gussling monsters. I suppose that's considered a liberal opinion but I do believe in a better future of cars. I think traffic will be solved as the population increases and projects like the Bouring project get built. Or the bullet train across California, or Russell Brandt's space machine that can take you from NY to LAX in <30 minutes. There are a small group of very smart people that I pray get it right for the rest of us because as individuals it often seems we're stuck. I watched a homeless man get interested on the public bus I take home from work/appointments and had a panic attack. So maybe one day things will get better but right now bus drivers get $90k/year are told they will be fired if they touch any offenders even if they are violent or harassing passengers. And public transportation where I live gets almost no funding. So I don't have much hope for the public sector, only that private entities like Tesla or Bill Gates philanthropy or whoever will come down and fix this things like some kind of messiah, our transportation desperately needs a second coming. With all the amazing next-generation technology around us, it's a shame.
