hi mate, The egg.
Chickens would have evolved from a previously existing animal such as a dinosaur.
Dinosuars lay eggs and chickens hatch from eggs so from thousands of generations of mutation, the chicken would have been formed. However, due to the chicken hatching from an egg, the chicken egg would have come first.
