. Eggs, Flour and Sugar are mixed in the ratio 2:3:4 by weight to bake a cake. If the weight of the cake is 3.6 kg, find the weight, in grams, of (i) Eggs  (ii) Flour  (iii) Sugar                                                         ​

therefore 2x 3x 4x

3.6kg=3600gms

therefore

2x+3x+4x=3600

9x=3600

x=3600÷9

x=300

Let put the value of x in ratios

Eggs=2x=2×300=600gms

Flour=3x=3×300=900gms

Sugar=4x=4×300=1200

add

600+900+1200=3600

done
