The total resistance of BA= 5 + 5 ohm

                                         = 10 ohm

The resistance of down series= 5 + 5 ohm

                                                   = 10 ohm

Both the series are parallel, so the total resistance  = 1/10 + 1/ 10

                                                                                      = 5 ohm

Hence the total resistance of the circle is 5+ 5+ 5+ 5

                                                                  = 20 ohm

Both the series are in parallel = 1/20 + 1/5

                                                  = 4 ohm
