Let the number be x

Eight times of a number =8x

Number reduced by 10 = 8x - 10

Six times the number =6x

Add 4 =6x + 4

8x - 10 = 6x + 4

8x - 6x = 4 + 10

2x = 14

x = 7

Answer :- Number is 7.
