Answer:

3x+ 2y = 8

x = 8-2y/3

Now y at = - 2

x will be 4

(4,-2)

Now y at = 1

x will be 2

(1,2)

Now y at 2

x will be 4/3

(2,4/3)

Now y at 3

x will be 2/3.

(3,2/3)

Hence the 4 solutions are...

(4,-2), (1,2), (2,4/3) & (3,2/3)

Hope you got it...

2x+3y=8

Case i)

Put the value of Y=2

2x+3(2)=8

2x+6=8

2x=8-6

2x=2

x=2/2

x=1

Values: y=2;x=1

Case ii)

Put value of y=-2

2x+3(-2)=8

2x-6=8

2x=8+6

2x=14

x=14/2

x=7

Values: Y=-2;x=7

Case iii)

Put the value of y=4

2x+3(4)=8

2x+12=8

2x=8-I2

2x=-4

x=-4/2

x=-2

Values: Y=4; x=-2
