The role of teachers and school should be to make children not just to learn but to understand the subjects. Not just teaching it like a particular subject and saying things like you need to this to be good at this but to tell them how to be good at something they really like. School and teachers should encourage the students to look at the different perspective of lives. Not just to tell them to study only but to help them in studying as well as in the things they like. They should never say things like in student life only study is important because that's the most worst thing as you put pressure on the children by saying such things. Teacher should understand the ability of each child , every child is not the same they should understand. Schools should also understand that there is not just one type of intelligence there are many types of intelligence for ex : musical intelligence etc.

There are a lot of steps that schools and teachers can take to make the environment relaxed.

Some of the steps are:

1. Activity-based learning- Using activities in the classroom ensures active participation from students. Simply giving them lectures and homework will not encourage them to get involved in studies.  
2. Promote understanding- It is important to make sure that children understand the concepts. If they do not understand well, they will resort to rote learning. Rote learning builds stress.
3. Encourage questions- Teachers should be open to questions raised by children. They should not ridicule any child’s question as being ‘silly’.
4. Reinforce learning in fun ways- Teachers need to find different ways to reinforce the learning that has taken place in class. The homework should not be only in the form of written exercises. It could also be in the form of an artwork, a speech or a debate. Children should find the assignments interesting. Also, a variety of assignments helps children who are good at art, to prove their understanding and improve their confidence levels.
5. Include application questions in tests- If the children understand the concepts well, it is easier for them to apply the concepts to real life. Such testing will take the stress away from having to memorise definitions, and will test the actual understanding of the learners.
