Dear Madam:

I wish to state very sadly that my father passed away on May 26, 2019 at 9:45 p.m. after a long illness. He had been hospitalized for the last two weeks. The entire family is grief-stricken. Everyone in the family is in mourning. The funeral was done on May 27, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. After that the funeral rites will carry on for almost one week. Since I am the eldest son, I will have to perform all the the rites. On June 5, 2019 I have to go to Haridwar to consign his ashes to the Ganges. Kindly grant me two week’s leave, i.e. from May 26, 2019 to June 8, 2019. I shall be exceedingly grateful. Thanking you.
