● No brother ... you can't do PHD in any topic of science while belonging to commerce field .

# Reason ===> Till 12th standard students got the basic knowledge with respect to whatever stream they choose . So , if you belongs to commerce feild you can't get any knowledge about complex topics of science . And if you are not known to basic things then how can you apply for PHD .

.. therefore ...

if you are intrested to do PHD of any topic of science then you can join science stream but while taking commerce you can't do PHD of science .
