अब,

→ आदमी ने वस्तु को खरीदा = 20% लाभ पर = यानि की 20% कम में = क्रय मूल्य के 80% पर = (80 * 100x)/100 = Rs.80x में l

अब,

→ बेचा = 20% हानि पर = यानि की 80x के 80% पर = (80x * 80)/100 = Rs.64x

अत,

→ वस्तु का क्रय मूल्य से कुल हानि = 100x - 64x = Rs.32x

→ हानि % = (32x * 100)/100x = 32% (Ans.)
