Let us assume that, the breadth of the rectangle is B cm and length is L cm .

given that,

→ Length of the rectangle = 2 * B + 2

→ L = (2B + 2) cm ---- Eqn.(1)

so,

→ Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ 2(L + B) = 82 cm

putting value from Eqn.(1) ,

→ 2(2B + 2 + B) = 82

→ 3B + 2 = 41

→ 3B = 41 - 2

→ 3B = 39

→ B = 13 cm

then,

→ L = 2B + 2 = 2 * 13 + 2 = 26 + 2 = 28 cm .

Hence, length of the rectangle is 28 cm and breadth is 13 cm .
