एक कमरे की भीतरी लम्बाई चौड़ाई ऊंचाई 5 मीटर , 3 मीटर , 2 मीटर है , यदि प्रत्येक दीवार की मोटाई 20 सेन्टीमीटर हो तो कमरे की चारों दीवारों बाहरी क्षेत्रफल बताओ ?

So the effective length of the room will be = 500+20+20 = 540 cm
Similarly effective width will be 340.
Bit the height will remain same i.e 200cm.

outer surface area of the room = 2(LxH)+2(BxH)
= 2H(L+B) = 2x200x(540+340) = 400x880 = 352000cm² = 35.20m²
