Given:

To find:

Solution:

The total no. of seats in the auditorium = 1600

The total no. of rows of seats in the auditorium = 65

The no. of seats in 5 rows = 20

∴ The remaining no. of rows in the auditorium = 65 - 5 = 60

Let "x" represent the no. of seats in the remaining 60 rows

Now, according to the question, we can form an equation as:

(5\times 20) + (60\times x) = 1600

\implies 100 + 60x = 1600

\implies 60x = 1600 -  100

\implies 60x = 1500

\implies x = \frac{1500}{60}

\implies \bold{x = 25}

Thus, the number of seat in each of the remaining rows is 25.
