Explanation:
Karl Marx was born in Germany in 1818. He was a German economist. He was a great political thinker and one of the chief founders of communism.
Due to Industrial Revolution, new factories were established in Europe. Due to increased exports, the factories owners became very rich. This class of rich people was called capitalist.
The capitalist used to exploit the labourers. The labourers got very little wages and they had no share in the profits of the factories. Their condition was miserable.
Karl Marx wanted the workers to be United and fight the capitalist for their rights. He said that there should be public ownership of all the the factories and the profits should be be divided equally among all the workers. He advocated against the private ownership and advised that every means of production be socially owned. The concept was known as socialism.
Along with his colleagues, Friedrich Engles, Marx wrote Communist Manifesto. Later, he wrote another book Das Kapital, in which he supported his ideology of communism very strongly.
