Solution:

CP = x and y

लाभ  x  + 20%x   =10000

=> x = 10000/1.2

=> x= 25000/3

हानि

y - 20%y   =10000

=> y = 10000/0.8

=> y =  12500

x + y = 25000/3  + 12500

= ( 62500)/3

SP = 10000 + 10000 = 20000

CP > SP

हानि = ( 62500)/3  - 20000  = 2500/3

हानि प्रतिशत  = 100 *  (2500/3)/(( 62500)/3)  

= 4 %
