Answer:

given the length of parallel sides of the trapezium are 8m and 60dm respectively. we have to find the altitude of the trapezium. formula for the area of trapezium is 1/2 × h ( b1 + b2 ) where "h" is the altitude and b1 and b2 are the parallel sides of the trapezium. hence, the altitude of the trapezium is 4m.

Answer:firstly convert 60 dm in meters so,

10dm =1m

60dm=6m

GIVEN=parallel sides of trapezium and area of trapezium

TO FIND=Altitude of trapezium

SOLUTION=

A.oftrapezium= Altitude×(sum of parallel sides)/2

28 =Altitude ×(8+6)/2 28=Altitude×14/2 28=Altitude×7 28/7=Altitude

So, Altitude is equal to 4m.hope it helps u dear ☺️☺️
