Here is your answer.
Let the total income is Rs x
Ela spend on clothes= x/3

Now Remaining income =
 = x -  \frac{x}{3}  \\  =  \frac{3x - x}{3}  \\  =  \frac{2x}{3}
Ela spend on food=
 =  \frac{1}{5}  \times  \frac{2x}{3}  \\  =  \frac{2x}{15}
Now Remaining income is
 =  \frac{2x}{3}  -  \frac{2x}{15}  \\  =  \frac{10x - 2x}{15}  \\  =  \frac{8x}{15}
Ela spend on traveling is
 =  \frac{1}{4}  \times  \frac{8x}{15}  \\  =  \frac{2x}{15}
ATQ
x =  \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{2x}{15}  +  \frac{2x}{15}  + 2400 \\ x  -  \frac{x}{3}  -  \frac{2x}{15}  -  \frac{2x}{15}  = 2400 \\  \frac{15x - 5x - 2x - 2x}{15}  = 2400 \\  \frac{6x}{15}  = 2400 \\ x =  \frac{2400 \times 15}{6}  \\ x = 6000
Hence Ela total income is Rs 6000

Option (C) Rs 6000 is your answer
