prosperous sections of the society. They included artisans such as

shoemakers, pastry cooks ,watchmakers etc.

2. Their leader was Maximilian Robespierre .

3. They started wearing long striped trousers. In addition, Sans

Culottes men wore the red cap that symbolizes liberty.
