The world’s population continues to soar, but that rise in numbers has not been matched by an accompanying increase in supplies of fresh water. “Water is a finite and irreplaceable resource that is fundamental to human well-being and it is only renewable if well managed,” says Joakim Harlin a water resources and international development professional from UNDP.
