Given:  3 rows containing 2 seats in each row

number of ways in which 3 persons can be seated such that no row remains empty is P

To Find :  value of P

Solution:

There are 3 rows containing 2 seats in each row

Persons = 3

no row remains empty

Hence one person in one row

3 Person for  3 rows can be selected in ³C₃ = 3!  = 6 ways

in Each row person can seat in 2 Ways

Hence total ways  = 2 x 2 x 2  x 6  = 48

48 ways ,  3 persons can be seated such that no row remains empty

Hence P = 48
