Yes election is all about political competition. In some ways it is good as it pressurise the party in power to do for the Welfare of people as if they will not do so there will be the chance that in next election they will not get elected. Also in another way it is not good as due to competition the political party is not always show what they actually are and make false promises and when they game power they forget all the promises that they made earlier.
