In this world, a country's government can be an outcome of two types:

1. Dictatorship
2. Democratic system

Dictatorship:

In a dictatorship system, people have no right to choose their government. It is an older age concept and follows the policy of "Kings and Kingdoms". A royal family which has been ruling for ages continues to rule and after the death of the king, the successor from the royal family continues the trend.
Most of the countries which follow this system such as Britain and Bhutan today sometimes seek the opinion of the public before passing any new law or ordinance, but in some others, the public has nothing to do with it. They just have to abide as instructed by the 'dictator'.

Democratic system:

This is the most popular and new-age concept of forming a government. In this system, the people have the right to select their desired 'candidates'.
The candidates come from different parties which are judged by the public. Then a process known as 'elections' are conducted in which the common mass 'votes' for their favourite political party/candidate and after vote counting, the candidate with maximum number of votes wins.
Elections are held at various levels to select the worthy candidate, like:

• Municipality elections
• MLA elections
• State government elections
• Central government elections
