1. in china the elections are held every 5 years to the Chinese parliament, national people's congress. From all over china 3000 members are elected and some from the army

2. In china a person wanting to contest in these elections must be from the Chinese communist party or 8 other parties allied to it

3. the candidates must take the approval of the Chinese communist party.

4. The government is always formed by the Chinese  communist party.

5. therefore in China, people are not offered any REAL choice which is an essential feature of any democracy.

therefore it can be said that the elections in China do no represent people's verdict.
