The form of government in India is Democracy. Therefore, people have the right to elect their representatives to rule themselves. This they do by exercising their "Right to Vote". In India, elections in India are festival of democracy, is because this is the time when people can choose the government which they want. They celebrate this festival of democracy by casting their votes in favor of their representatives. Alike any other festival, the preparations for the festival also get started a month earlier. And on the day of election people even stand in the queues to cast their vote. Their standing in the large queues shows the enthusiasm of people.
