Electric cell having 2v potential difference each have been connected in form of a battery .what will be the total potential difference of the battary in both cases​

(i) Total potential difference =2+2+2=6V

(ii) Total potential difference =2+2+2+2=8V

Explanation:

If 2 V electric cells are connected in series, positive to negative, total voltage will be added according to the number of cells connected. For example if a 6 number of cells are connected in series, each cell having a voltage of 2 volts, the total voltage will be 12 volts.
