Answer:

They produce voltage by means of chemical reactions. They contain electrodes and an electrolyte, which may be a paste (dry cell) or a liquid (wet cell). Solar cells convert the energy in sunlight to electrical energy. They contain a material such as silicon that absorbs light energy and gives off electrons.

electrical cells or chemical cells like dry cell converts chemical energy into electrical energy by means of some chemical reactions in them. electrolyte in them is a mixture of different chemicals. In these cells the cathode and anode are mostly zinc and copper rod. one of the best example of electrical sales used nowadays is dry cell in which the electrolyte is a mixture of ammonium chloride manganese dioxide and powdered carbon. At the end we can say that acticall serves totally work on the principle of electrolysis of liquids.

Solar cells use the light energy that comes from sun to convert them into electrical energy mainly solar cells absorb the the light energy with the help of a Absorbptent material called silicon.

This light energy from sun contains photons that are, elementary particles. And these photons help electrons to flow in solar cells. And after connecting external wires we can utilise light energy in form of electrical energy. using solar cells is very advantageous for mankind, because we are converting external source of energy into the source of energy that we need.

Also electrical cells or chemical cells stops working after a lot of chemical reactions because the chemicals in electrical cell start to to leak from the cell after a long time of using. But nothing like this happen in a solar cell.
