Electric flux has no direction but Electric field does?
How does that makes sense?

Electric Flux is the rate of flow of electric field through a given area.

Electric flux are simply imaginary field lines passing through an imaginary surface called Gaussian surface.

But, Electric field is the electric strength of a charge at a point.

The electric flux is calculated by using dot product and we know that dot product gives a scalar quantity.

Also, a scalar quantity has only magnitude, but no direction.

Hence, electric flux has no direction.
