Here,
Maximum Current I = 15 A
supply voltage, V = 220 V
so, the maximum power the household circuitary can use is = VI = 220*15 = 3300 W
Heater use 2000 W power
so, remaining power is 3300-2000 = 1300 W
One bulb can used 200 W
so, 1300 W used by no. of bulbs = 1300/200 = 6.5 bulbs

Dear Student,
◆ Answer -
n = 6.5 bulbs
● Explanation -
As this is domestic electric supply, voltage will be 220 V.
Maximum power available is calculated as -
P(max) = VI
P(max) = 220 × 15
P(max) = 3300 W
Let n be no of bulbs used in circuit.
P(heater) + P(bulbs) = Pmax
2000 + n×200 = 3300
n×200 = 3300 - 2000
n×200 = 1300
200n = 1300
n = 1300/200
n = 6.5 bulbs
Hence, 6.5 bulbs are used simultaneously.
Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
