yes..

this is because fossil fuels contain sulphur impurities which causes air pollution... combustion of fossil fuels also release other harmful gases like carbon monoxide hydrogen sulphide smoke fumes unburnt hydrocarbon etc.

on the other hand nuclear fuels are harmful as the are the main pollutants of radioactive pollution.they can escape in the surrounding even if they r buried in the soil and can remain in surrounding for hundreds of years..

their harmful effects can also pass from one generation to other ..
