Electricity is produced in dry cell through conversion of chemical energy to electrical form


Like all a positive dry cell consist of two primary cell

One is positively charged and the other is negatively charged

When the two are connected then the flow on electrons take place which in turn supports flow of electricity

The primary direction of the current is opposite to the flow of electrons


Now,

In case of dry cell , the negative plate is the zinc case, carbon rod acts as positive plate ans ammonium chloride is the electrolyte
