Electro negativity is directly proposnal to S-orbital character..

I try to explain it.....

I take example of SP SP2 and SP3 hybridization...

in SP hybridization %S=50%

in SP2 hybridization %S=33.33%

in SP3 hybridization %S=25%

So Electo negativity of SP is greater than SP2 and SP3...

and Electo negativity of SP2 is greater than SP3...
