Answer: 50 g

Explanation:

Q=I\times t

where Q= quantity of electricity in coloumbs

I = current in amperes = 0.550 A

t= time in seconds =100 min= 100\times 60=6000s

Q=0.550A\times 6000s=3300C

96500 Coloumb of electricity deposits equivalent mass of metal

As equivalent weight = \frac{\text {molecular weight}}{3}

96500\times 3=289500Coloumb of electricity deposits molecular mass of metal

3300 C of electricity deposits =\frac{M}{289500}\times 3300=0.011M g

But 0.011M=0.55

M=50g
