these are some terms related to the periodic table and it's elements.

electronic configuration basically represents the number of electrons In each shell (K,L,M,N)
for example the electronic configuration of Na-sodium is 2,8,1 (as its atomic number is 11)

the electron capacity is different for different shells
for K it's 2
L-8
M-18
N-32

period is the horizontal column in the periodic table
example- H-hydrogen and He-helium belong to the same period.

valency is nothing but the number of atom(s)
in the outermost shell
ex. the valency of Na is 1

groups is the vertical column in the periodic table
ex. H-hydrogen Li-lithium,Na-sodium are from the same group
