electrons are transformed from atoms of (PHOSPHORUS or SODIUM) to atoms (PHOSPHORUS or SODIUM). This transfer makes the sodium atoms (NEGATIVE, NEUTRAL, or POSITIVE) and the phosphorus atoms (NEGATIVE, NEUTRAL, or POSITIVE) as a result, the sodium and phosphorus atoms strongly ( ATTRACT or REPEL) each other.

Whenever,an electron gives an electron,it carry negative charge and the metal which gives electron acquire negative charge.

Now,

Answer-:

1 ✒ If phosphorus is a donor ,then it will acquire a positive charge but if it receives electrons,then it will acquire a negative charge.
Same thing is with the Sodium.
