Electrons are transformed from atoms of (PHOSPHORUS or SODIUM) to atoms (PHOSPHORUS or SODIUM). This transfer makes the sodium atoms (NEGATIVE, NEUTRAL, or POSITIVE) and the phosphorus atoms (NEGATIVE, NEUTRAL, or POSITIVE) as a result, the sodium and phosphorus atoms strongly ( ATTRACT or REPEL) each other.
