The dispersed particles present in a colloidal solution exhibit a very important property called Brownian movement. When a colloidal solution is viewed under an ultramicroscope, the colloidal particles are seen continuously moving in a zigzag path.

Hope this will help you✌

Answer:

General properties of colloidal systems are as follows:

(1) Colloidal system is heterogeneous and consists of two phases, dispersed phase and dispersion medium.

(2) The dispersed phase particles pass slowly through parchment paper or animal membrane, but readily pass through ordinary filter paper.

(3) The colloidal systems exhibit optical property like Tyndal effect, kinetic property like Brownian motion, electrical properties like electrophoresis a colour.
