The dipole is consisted of two charges negative & positive. they are sperated by the distance r, so there will be a electrostatic force exerted b/w them .
Fe= Kq1×q2/r^2
where Fe is a electrostatic fore,K is a constant with value 1,q1& q2 are positive& negative charges respectively & ris the distance b/w to unlike charges.
