Element A,B, C, D and F have atomic radii 64pm, 152pm, 66pm , 106pm, 70pm and 88pm respectively and belong to same period (1) arrange the element in the order of increasing atomic number. (2) From this data, state how the atomic size of element varies from left to ring in a period.​

Atomic radius (pm) 152, 186, 231, 244, 262

ii) The elements Li has the smallest atom (atomic radius 152 Pm) whereas the elements Cs has the largest atom (atomic radius 262 Pm).

iii) From this arrangement, we find that the atomic size (or radius) increase down the group.
