These three groups are:

metals, nonmetals, and inert gases.

Elements are considered to be "pure substance".

Elements are the substance which are made up of millions of atoms having same atomic numbers...

Some elements are made artificially and some are produced inside the core of stars

Stars formed many elements by the concentration of hydrogen element it their cores. and this could be done by " Nuclear Fusion".

Eg:- Hydrogen(H) , Helium(He)

$\small\bold{Metals}$ :- This is the type of element which have a tendency to lose electrons .

Eg:- Iron(Fe) , Gold(Au) etc.

$\small\bold{Non- metals}$ :- This the type of element which have a tendency to gain electrons.

Eg:- Carbon(C) , Oxygen(O) etc.

$\small\bold{Metalloids}$ :- These types of elements can show behaviour like both types (metals and non - metals)... These are also called as "Semi - Conductors".

Eg:- Silicon (Si)
