\bf{\huge{E^A_Z}}

here E represents element.

A represents mass number .

Z represents atomic number.

we know, mass number is the sum of mass of protons and neutrons present in an element. and atomic number is the number of protons present in that element.

for instance, if an element X have p protons and n neutrons .

then, mass number , A = p + n

and atomic number , Z = p

We know, calcium is denoted by Ca, and number of protons in their nucleus = 20. And also number of neutrons = 20.

so, mass number of Ca = 40

and atomic number of Ca = 20

it can be represented as \bf{\huge{Ca^{40}_{20}}}.
