∴ height of kite from the top of the building = (80-10)= 70 m.

The angle between the thread and building θ=30∘

then sinθ is ratio of opposite side to hypotenuse.

In ΔDEC,ΔDEC is right angle triangle

sinθ=DCCE

sin30∘=x70

21=x70

x=140m

The length of the thread = 140 m
