Eleven bags of wheat flour, each marked 10kg actually contained the following weights( in kg) of flour.
10.05, 10.20, 10.00, 9.75, 10.00, 10.03, 9.95, 10.35, 9.90, 10.00, 10.08.
Find the probability that any of these bags chosen at random contains:
a) More than 10 kg bag
b) less than 9.5kg bag ​

To Find  : the probability that any of these bags chosen at random contains:

a) More than 10 kg bag

b) less than 9.5kg bag ​

Solution:

10.05, 10.20, 10.00, 9.75, 10.00, 10.03, 9.95, 10.35, 9.90, 10.00, 10.08.

Total Bags = 11

More than 10  kg

10.05, 10.20, 10.03 , 10.35, 10.08

Hence 5 Bags

=Probability  = 5/11

less than 9.5kg bag ​
