To find:

Equivalent resistance between A and B.

Solution:

We will calculate the resistance by considering either parallel or series combination of resistors with respect to other resistors.

After simplifying the diagram we can see that:

All the 25 ohms are in parallel.

2 and 4 ohm are in parallel.

6 and 3 ohm are in parallel

We know that when resistors are in parallel:

1/R equivalent = 1/R1 + 1/R2

And when in series:

R equivalent = R1 + R2

Therefore, the equivalent resistance between the terminals A and B is 3 ohm.
