Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y= 2xy -----(1)

6x+12y=7xy--------(2)

Multiply equation (1) with 3 we get

6x+9y=6xy (a)

6x+12y=7xy (b)

_ _ _

-----------------------

0- 3y= -xy

x= 3y/y

x = 3.

Put x= 3 in eqn (1)

2(3) + 3y = 2(3)y

6 +3y = 6y

3y = 6

y = 2

Hence X= 3 and Y = 2

OR

2x+3y= 2xy -----(1)

6x+12y=7xy--------(2)

Multiply equation (1) with 4 we get

8x+12y=8xy (a)

6x+12y=7xy (b)

_ _ _

-----------------------

2x- 0= xy

y= 2x/x

y = 2.

Put y= 3 in eqn (1)

2x + 3(2) = 2x(2)

2x + 6 = 4x

2x= 6

x = 3

Hence X= 3 and Y = 2
