Answer:

solving by elimination method

so 3x + 4y = 10----------- equation 1

2x– 2y= 2-----------_equation 2

multiplying equation 1 with 2

and equation 2 with 3

so after multiplying the equation will be 6x + 8y = 20

6x 6y = 6

() (+) ()

--------------------------

0 + 14y = 14

so y = 1

therefore x= 2 + 2(1)/2

so x = 2

thus x= 2 and y= 1

hope it will help you

Answer:

3x+4y=10..........(1)

2x-2y=2.............(2)

dividing the whole equation (2) by 2 we get

x-y=1................................. (3)

Multiplying the equation (3) by 4 we get,

4x-4y=4............(4)

adding equations (1) and (4) we get

x=2 and y=1
