Answer:

x=-3  ,  y=5

Step-by-step explanation:

The Given equations:

4x+3y=3 ...........(i)

7x-5y=-46 ...........(ii)

After multiplying with 5, the (i)no equation will be,

20x+15y=15 ...........(iii)

After multiplying with 3, the (ii)no equation will be,

21x -15y=-138 ...........(iv)

Now, Let's add the (iii)no equation with the (iv)no equation.

   20x+15y=15

   21x -15y=-138

-------------------------------

             41x=-123

           Or, x=\frac{-123}{41}

              ∴ x=-3

Insert the value of x in the (i)no equation,

    4(-3)+3y=3

Or, 3y-12=3

Or, 3y=3+12

Or, 3y=15

Or, y=\frac{15}{3}

y=5

Answer: x=-3 & y=5.

(N.B: Here I've cut off all the value of y at the beginning and found the value of x at first. You can do the opposite. It means you can cut off all the value of x  at the beginning and find the value of y at first.)

Hope you understand the method of solving this type of math.
