4x+5y=7............(1)
3x+4y=5...........(2)
multiply eq 1 by 3 & eq 2 by 4
12x+ 15y= 21...........(3)
12x+16y=20............(4)
on subtracting eq 3 & eq 4
-y = 1
y= -1
put this value of y in eq 1
4x+5y=7
4x+ 5(-1) =7
4x-5=7
4x= 7+5
4x= 12
x= 12/4
x=3
3x+4y=5...........(2)
multiply eq 1 by 3 & eq 2 by 4
12x+ 15y= 21...........(3)
12x+16y=20............(4)
on subtracting eq 3 & eq 4
-y = 1
y= -1
put this value of y in eq 1
4x+5y=7
4x+ 5(-1) =7
4x-5=7
4x= 7+5
4x= 12
x= 12/4
x=3
