The answer is as follows:

Taking straight nose = nn and roman nose = NN, Nn, nn, and

rolling tongue = TT, Tt, tT and no rolling tongue = tt, we get the genotypes as:

  • Elizabeth - nn, TT or Tt or tT
  • John - NN or Nn or nN, TT, Tt, tT
  • Anne - Nn, tt
  • Peter - nn, tt
  • Therefore the genotypes of Elizabeth and John are nnT_ (where the '_' can be of any type) and N_T_ (where the '_' can be any other type since the dominant trait is already present).
  • Genotypes is the word used to define the genetic makeup of a living organism and is used to refer to the alleles.
