In statistics there are total 10 things you gotta understand...

First the ways to calculate mean....

There are 3 methods of calculating mean...

First is the direct method which u can use when the calculatuons are minor..

The formula for this method is x(bar)= {fixi/{fi...

Second is the assumed mean method...

The formula for this method is- x (bar)= A (bar)+ {fidi/{fi where di=deviation=xi-A...

the formula for the step-deviation method is ---

x(bar)= A (bar)+{h× {fiui/{fi}...

then you'll be given to calculate mean for 1 frequency or 2 frequency in ehich u can use the direct method...

now, the formula for finding median is ---

median= l+[h×(N/2-cf)/f]

where l=lower limit of median class...

h=class width/size..

cf=cumulative frequency of the class just above the median class..

f=frequency of median class...

now, formula for mode= l+[f1-f0/2f1-f0-f2]...

where l=lowrr limit of modal class...

f1=frequency of modal class...

f0=frequency of the class preceding the modal class ..

f2=frequency of the class succeeding the modal class...

and there are 2 ogives ;less than one and greater than one...

arey maheku actually i had fallen in love with u at some point of time in my life...that's what i was trying to say...
